Who we are

AdJobs is a job board focused on the advertising and direct response industry. It connects people who want to hire (advertisers and businesses) with talent such as video editors, media buyers, and copywriters.

Information we collect

We collect the following information when you use AdJobs:

• Account information from Google. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo.
• Profile information. If you create a talent profile, we collect what you provide, such as your role, skills, experience, and related details.
• Job postings. If you post a role, we collect the content of that posting.
• Form and draft information. When you use our forms, such as posting a role, we may save the information you enter, including selections and partial drafts, even if you do not finish or publish. We use this to understand and improve how our forms and Service work.
• Messages. We collect the messages you send and receive through the in-app chat.
• Usage and device data. We automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and how you interact with the Service.
• Approximate location. We may determine your approximate location (such as country and region) from your IP address, to understand where our traffic comes from and to improve the Service.
• Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and similar tools to operate the Service and to measure and improve advertising (see "Advertising and analytics" below).

How we use your information

We use your information to:

Advertising and analytics

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure the performance of our advertising and to help us reach people who may be interested in AdJobs. This means certain information about your actions on our site (such as visiting a page or posting a role) may be shared with Meta. Where personal identifiers are shared with Meta for this purpose, they are hashed before being sent. You can learn more and manage your ad preferences in your Meta account settings.

• With other users, as part of how the Service works (for example, your public profile and job postings are visible to other users, and your messages are shared with the people you message).

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at notifications@theadjobs.com.

• You can request access to or deletion of your data by contacting notifications@theadjobs.com.
• You can control cookies through your browser settings, and manage ad personalization through Meta's settings.

Age requirement

AdJobs is intended for users who are 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
